The Air Max 1 has been one of the most remade shoes in Nike’s deep archive. We’ve seen countless different iterations, adding both style and technological updates to the shoe, over the past 29 years. And while this latest iteration may appear to be fairly traditional at first glance, it actually adds yet another twist to the design.
This “CX” colorway, set to drop overseas on 6/17, is made of a color-changing material. When exposed to UV light, the off-white portions of the upper transform to blue.
